“Personal Data” refers to any data about an individual as defined under the Personal Data Protection Act 2012 (“the Act”).  Examples of such Personal Data you may have provided us during the course of your interactions with us include your name, telephone number(s), mailing address, email address, date of birth, and transactional information.

We will need to collect, use, disclose and/or process your Personal Data or personal information about you in order to process, administer and/or manage your relationship and/or account with us. Such Personal Data may include information set out in the application form relating to any of our products or services, whether the information is submitted via hardcopy, email, website, mobile app or any other means.


Purpose for the Collection, Use and Disclosure of Your Personal Data

Ordinarily, we collect, use, disclose and/or process your Personal Data for one or more of the purpose(s) (“Purpose”):

•    processing and/or dealing with your request(s) and any necessary investigations relating to your request(s);

Access of Personal Data

To obtain a copy of your personal data being held by us, please contact our Data Protection Officer. We may need you to provide your identification card to have your particulars verified. We reserve the right to charge a reasonable fee for processing your request to access or retrieve your Personal Data.


PDPA NRIC Guidelines

In line with the Advisory Guidelines on the Personal Data Protection Act for NRIC and Other National Identification Numbers (“Advisory Guidelines”), we do not collect, use, or disclose your NRIC number(s), passport numbers, and/or other national identification numbers (e.g. driver’s licence, Foreign Identification Numbers etc), including but not limited to the retention of physical NRICs or copies (physical or electronic) of your identification documents. We will only collect, use, or disclose your NRIC numbers or copies of NRIC when this is required under the law or when it is necessary to accurately establish or verify your identity to a high degree of fidelity in accordance with the Advisory Guidelines. We will implement extra security steps to protect your Personal Data from unauthorised access and/or disclosure.


Consent

Through your interactions with us (including our agents and partners, as the case may be), providing or submitting information to us or signing up for products or services offered by us, you agree and consent to us:
•    collecting, using, disclosing and/or processing your Personal Data for the Purpose as described above;
•    collecting Personal Data about you from sources other than yourself and using, disclosing and/or processing the same, for one or more of the Purpose as described above; and
•    disclosing your Personal Data to our third-party service providers, or agents (including its lawyers / law firms), for the Purpose as described above
