Chairman

Mr Chew Hock Yong is currently the Chairman of Workforce Singapore.

Mr Chew had held various appointments in the Ministry of Defence, Ministry of Communications, Ministry of Home Affairs and Ministry of Finance before his appointment as Deputy Secretary of the then Ministry of Community Development, Youth and Sports in 2004, and subsequently, Chief Executive of the Land Transport Authority in 2010. Between 2014 and 2022, Mr Chew held several Permanent Secretary appointments in the Ministry of National Development, Ministry of Social and Family Development and Ministry of Home Affairs.

Mr Chew was awarded the Public Administration Medal (Silver) in 2004 and the Public Administration Medal (Gold) in 2014 for his outstanding contributions to the Public Service.

Executive Director

Mr Tan Kim Hong is the Chief Executive Officer of SimplyGo Pte. Ltd. He is also the Executive Director of the SimplyGo Board.

Prior to his appointment, he held several senior leadership positions including Chief Executive Officer for Transit Link Pte Ltd and Chief Executive for Public Transport Council. He is a veteran in the public transport industry, with more than 25 years of experience.

Mr Tan brings to the Board extensive knowledge and experience in ticket payment services and licensing, fare system operations, regulation of public transport services, and public transport fare polices.

Directors

Mr Atul Bhuchar is Head of Transaction Banking Product, Asia Pacific division in Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corporation (SMBC), a leading financial institution with a global integrated network across 39 countries and territories, 15 of which are in the Asia Pacific region. Atul is Singapore-based and leads SMBC’s Asia Pacific transaction banking team for cash and trade products, managing its product development programs, the life cycle of new products and services, and product commercialisation.
 
A product innovator with global delivery experience, Mr Bhuchar has built new businesses and pioneered several industry-leading and transformational digital initiatives in his 27+ years' experience. He has been an evangelist for blockchain initiatives since 2016, when Project Ubin, a collaborative industry project led by Monetary Authority of Singapore commenced. Prior to joining SMBC, he was the Head of Product in Partior, a blockchain-powered market infrastructure for global financial markets and reimagining payments, FX PvP settlement and liquidity. He previously served in various roles at DBS Bank, HSBC and Citibank.

Mr Bhuchar has experience across treasury, corporate banking, securities services, trade finance, and cash management, with roles in product, sales, relationship management, and operations functions, driving disruption and growth in both traditional finance and decentralised finance.

Mr Henry Chang is the Deputy Chief Executive of GovTech, which is the lead government agency supporting Singapore’s Smart Nation initiative and driving public sector digital transformation. He leads the Digital Government Transformation Group and oversees the Chief Information Officers and their teams in many government agencies whose IT are managed by GovTech. Prior to GovTech, Mr Chang had a 26-year career with the Defence Science and Technology Agency where his last appointment was Deputy Chief Executive (National Engineering).

Mr Chang is an engineer by training with a Bachelor of Engineering in Information System Engineering from Imperial College London, a Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering from Stanford University, and a Master of Business Administration degree from Massachusetts Institute of Technology. He is a Fellow of the Institution of Engineers, Singapore, an Executive Council member and Fellow of the Singapore Computer Society. He is also a board member of the Singapore Cooperation Enterprise and Singapore Network Information Centre.

Mr Choy Dawen holds the post of Deputy Chief Financial Officer of the Changi Airport Group (CAG), which is the manager of Singapore Changi Airport, a leading air hub in Asia and one of the world's most awarded airports. 

Mr Choy is experienced in leading large-scale corporate development projects, as well as managing complex programmes and stakeholder engagement. In his career with CAG, he has led corporate strategy, business development, transformation and sustainability, as well as programme management for the Changi East project developing Runway 3 and Terminal 5. He is also the founder of Antarctica Labs, a startup founded in 2021 for research and development on sustainability technologies. Prior to joining CAG, he was Director of Corporate Development at Singtel and served as a commissioned officer in the Republic of Singapore Air Force.

Mr Goh Eng Choon is the President of Cyber business at ST Engineering, a global technology, defence, and engineering group with a diverse portfolio of businesses across the aerospace, smart city, defence, and public security segments.

He leads the growth and development of the cybersecurity business, which provides end-to-end capabilities ranging from Security Operations Centres (SOCs) to managing security services for customers, delivering robust cybersecurity solutions, and training cybersecurity professionals. Under his leadership, the cybersecurity team has designed, built, and operated over 22 SOCs globally for national, critical information infrastructure, and commercial enterprise customers.

He was part of the advisory panel in Cyber Youth Singapore and has served as the chairman of cybersecurity chapters under SGTech. 

Before joining ST Engineering in 2011, Mr Goh was a full-time military officer with the Singapore Armed Forces, responsible for all Command, Control, Communications, and Computerisation (C4) developments across the Army. He was also the Managing Director of a security, command, and control solutions company.

Prior to his appointment to the SimplyGo Board, Mr Goh was a Board member of Transit Link Pte Ltd since 2021. He also holds directorships in several cybersecurity firms, including InnoEdge Labs Pte Ltd and Radiflow Ltd.

Mr Khong Yoon Kay served in various senior positions in Visa Worldwide Pte Ltd, a world leader in payments. He is a seasoned IT professional with extensive experience in the financial payment industry and a thought leader in the deployment of new payment technologies in the payment industry such as EMV chip cards, 3D Domain Internet Payment, and Tokenisation payment with mobile wallets such as Apple Pay, Google Pay, and Samsung Pay. He was also involved in Open Loop transit payment projects in several Asia Pacific countries. 

Mr Khong was a Co-Founder/Director of Digital Payments Asia-Pacific Pte Ltd, a payment consulting service company that assists industry stakeholders to understand the underlying digital payment technologies and achieve their strategic objectives.

Ms Lynette Pang is the Deputy Chief Executive Officer, Innovation & Planning and Corporate Development Group, at the National Arts Council (NAC) which champions the industry development of the arts in Singapore.

Prior to NAC, Ms Pang was Assistant Chief Executive, Marketing Group, at the Singapore Tourism Board (STB) where she was responsible for building the Singapore destination brand globally. She helmed international marketing efforts, overseeing corporate communications and global strategic marketing partnerships.
Ms Pang also worked on the entertainment, sports, and F1 portfolios at STB. 

Before joining the public sector, Ms Pang was in the commercial world coming from the media, arts and entertainment industries.

Ms Pang also sits as board member of The Marketing Society, Arts House Limited, Singapore Tyler Print Institute, and Singapore Symphony Group.

Ms June Seah is a veteran banker with extensive experience in the cards and payments industry. She was formerly the General Manager of UOB Card Centre before joining VISA International. She was a member of VISA's Asia Pacific Management Committee and headed up Merchant and Acquirer Partnerships for Asia Pacific, Central Europe, Middle East and Africa. 

She is currently an Independent Non-Executive Director of VICOM Ltd and holds the posts of Chairperson of its Sustainability Committee and member of its Audit and Risk Committee. Ms Seah was previously the Executive Director/Senior Advisor of Omise Payment SG Pte Ltd, a payment solutions company registered in Singapore with operations in Japan and Southeast Asia. 

Ms Seah holds a Bachelor of Social Sciences with Second Upper Honours in Economics from the University of Singapore (now known as the National University of Singapore).

Mr Nagaraj Sivaram is currently a Board Member and the Audit Committee Chairman of the Land Transport Authority. He also serves on the Board of companies listed on the Stock Exchange of Singapore. Previously, he sat on the Board of Urban Redevelopment Authority and Singapore Institute of Technology.

Mr Sivaram was an assurance partner at Ernst & Young Singapore until June 2019. Prior to his appointment to the SimplyGo Board, Mr Sivaram served as a Board Member and the Audit Risk Management Steering Committee Chairman of EZ-Link Pte Ltd.

In his professional capacity, he served as the Deputy Chairman of the Accounting Standards Council and received the Public Service Medal in 2018. He is an active member of the Institute of Singapore Chartered Accountants.

Prior to her appointment to SimplyGo Board, Ms Yeo was a director of Transit Link Pte Ltd and the Chairman of its Audit and Risk Management Committee and a member of its Leadership, Development and Remuneration Committee.

Ms Yeo currently serves on the Boards of the corporate manager of Keppel DC REIT, the Maritime & Port Authority of Singapore, and Surbana Jurong Private Limited. She has more than 30 years of experience in professional practice and corporate finance roles in commercial organisations.

Ms Yeo was a partner in Deloitte & Touche LLP until her retirement. She headed its real estate practice and led audits of clients engaged in infrastructure projects, property development and investment and related technical services. She also led audits in other segments of the economy including manufacturing, marine transportation, oil and derivative trading, hospitality, retail, and channel distribution. She had supported clients in public offerings of equity and debt securities.

Ms Yeo holds a Bachelor of Accountancy from the University of Singapore (now part of the National University of Singapore). She is a Fellow of the Institute of Singapore Chartered Accountants and a member of Singapore Institute of Directors.
