EZ-Link app phase-out

The EZ-Link app will be progressively phased out starting from 10 December 2025.

To unify all transit ticketing and travel card-related services on a single platform, all existing EZ-Link app features have been integrated into the SimplyGo app since September 2024. For you to enjoy all essential transit services and more on just one app, it is now timely for us to phase out the EZ-Link app.

There will be minimal impact for you. You will need to perform a one-time sync to migrate your account information to the SimplyGo app, which already includes all EZ-Link app features. Once done, you can continue to use your favourite EZ-Link services as usual. You will also be able to conveniently access a journey planner, travel guide, and other useful features on a single seamless platform. 

The process is simple and hassle-free. You just need to download the SimplyGo app, log in with your EZ-Link account credentials and follow the on-screen instructions to complete a one-time sync for your EZ-Link account information to be reflected on the SimplyGo app. All cards registered under your EZ-Link app account, EZ-Link Motoring Service information, as well as EZ-Link Wallet balance and Reward points, will be seamlessly transferred. No re-registration is required. 

No, it will not be automatically deleted. Your account will be dormant until you sync it.

You will need to switch to the SimplyGo app to continue accessing all online transit ticketing and card-related services. You will lose access to these services once the EZ-Link app is no longer available. Alternatively, you can rely on the ticketing service kiosks or SimplyGo Ticket Offices/Ticketing Service Centres at MRT stations and bus interchanges. 

The use of your SimplyGo EZ-Link/Concession cards and other travel cards will not be affected.

For EZ-Link app users on HUAWEI devices who have not switched to the SimplyGo app, your EZ-Link Wallet will be terminated after 8 January 2026. If you wish to reactivate the EZ-Link Wallet with Mastercard, please note there is a 30-day waiting period before reactivation can take place.

The pairing of your travel cards with the SimplyGo app is highly recommended for managing your travel cards conveniently. For example, you can easily access your card details and travel transaction history anytime and anywhere. 

We are constantly improving the app experience for our users. New features will be announced in due course. 

If your device does not support Google Play , please use up the remaining funds in your EZ-Link Wallet before the EZ-Link app is discontinued  on 8 January 2026.

Alternatively, please request a refund via our e-Feedback Form by 31 December 2025. When filling out the form, please select "Category: EZ-Link Wallet" and "Sub-Category: Refund of EZ-Link Wallet (for HUAWEI devices)", then provide the required information before submitting the form. The refund will take 14 working days to process.

You may continue to access transit ticketing and card-related services via the ticketing service kiosks or SimplyGo Ticket Offices/Ticketing Service Centres at MRT stations and bus interchanges.

Yes — you can download the SimplyGo app only if your HUAWEI device supports Google Play.
