For affected commuters who want to use their affected DBS/POSB Mastercard Debit card for public transport, you would have to tap your card at the train fare gates and wait up to 15 mins for DBS preauthorisation to be completed before you can continue using this card for your transport fares. SimplyGo, an initiative launched by the Land Transport Authority in 2019, makes commuting easier and more convenient for commuters by providing a range of e-payments options for use on public transport.
