Update: DBS has resolved the issue affecting the use of DBS/POSB Mastercard Debit cards for public transport.
For affected commuters who want to use their affected DBS/POSB Mastercard Debit card for public transport, you would have to tap your card at the train fare gates and wait up to 15 mins for DBS preauthorisation to be completed before you can continue using this card for your transport fares. We apologise for the inconvenience caused.

Children under seven years old and up to 0.9m in height can travel for free on basic bus and train services, Nite Owl bus services and Chinatown Direct Bus Services, when accompanied by a fare-paying adult.
Children under seven years old and above 0.9m in height can also travel for free on the above-mentioned services with a valid Child Concession Card.
Student cash fare may apply for Express Bus Services and City Direct Services. Please check with the bus captain when you board the respective bus services.
Free child concessionary travel does not apply to the NightRider services and Premium Bus Services, and the child will need to pay adult cash fare.
If the Child Concession Card is not presented, a child between 0.9m and 1.2m in height may need to pay the student/adult cash fare, while a child above 1.2m in height will need to pay the adult cash fare on Basic/Express Bus Services. Please check with the bus captain when you board the respective bus services.
